Using the site

You can read the free cakes and browse the festival without an account. Recipes, stories, and illustrations are the property of The Great CAKE Festival. You may cook from them at home. Please do not copy or republish them without asking.

Memberships

A membership unlocks every recipe on the site. It is billed through PayPal, monthly or yearly, and renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account page. When you cancel, you keep access through the end of the period you already paid for. Payments are not refunded automatically, but write to us if something went wrong and we will look at it.

We may change prices for new billing periods. PayPal will tell you before a price change takes effect on an existing subscription.

Recipes you submit

If you send us a recipe, you confirm it is yours to share, or that you have permission. You keep ownership. You give The Great CAKE Festival permission to edit it, credit you the way you ask, and publish it on the site, possibly as a members-only recipe. We read every submission but cannot promise to publish one, and we may not reply to each.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself. One membership is for one person. If we see an account being shared widely, we may suspend it.
